Google Adsense Bank Account Closed? Is the giant in trouble? Does Google send out checks from bank accounts that are closed? Citibank has returned my Google Adsense check to my Wachovia Bank Account stating the bank account is closed. No not my bank account, Google’s bank account. My bank has reversed the funds in my account and has charged me overdraft charges for checks written against the google check. For those of you who do not know what Google Adsense is I will explain: When you go to google to do a search you will notice there are two sets of results, the free results on the left side and the paid adds that are on the right side of the page. Google also pays website publishers like myself to place these adds on there websites. This is what adsense looks like:

Where is my money? Is google trying to pull a fast one? Is CitiBank in on this? Or is Wachovia just trying to hold my money and charge me huge amounts of overdrafts? All I know is I certainly do not have the money owed to me. I have made a half dozen calls to Wachovia to no avail. They insist they presented the check to Citibank, who informed them, the google account the check is written on had been closed. I contacted Google (of course by email, I don’t think they have a public phone number). This is their response to my requests :

“Thanks for your patience. We've reviewed your account information and can confirm that this check is still outstanding and should be able to be cashed. As mentioned before, please follow-up with your bank regarding the closed account to make sure that it is not your own. Please let us know if there is anything we can do on our side.” Google

They also tell me,

“For additional questions, we encourage you to visit the AdSense Help Center (http://www.google.com/adsense_help), our complete resource center for all AdSense topics. Alternatively, feel free to post your question on the forum just for AdSense publishers:” Google

I visited the help area and you guess, is there any information about my problem?
You are correct. . . Of course not.

But I did learn the answer to my earlier question about a google phone number.

“Our goal is to give all of the AdSense web publishers the support they need. At this time, we are best able to respond to our publishers' needs by email. Please use our contact form if you have any questions or concerns. One of our specialists will personally review your email and follow up shortly.” Google

So here I am. . . just a little guy, tying to make some honest money, stuck between three giants, CitiBank, Wachovia and Google. How am I going to get out of this mess? Please wish me luck.
